RANT: {Here is my mini-rant about Bottom of the Hill: I am really sick of this venue because they book a lot of shows that I want to see, but it’s too small so they sell out. Your options are that (1) you have to buy advance tickets, or (2) you need to show up really early, like before 9pm to get in. The good shows are always so packed that you can barely walk from one spot to another, and that really annoys me. It is something I will endure for bands I love, but I have a loose ban on this club! Another reason is that it’s on the edge of the city, with almost nothing around it; so it’s very out of the way. I take cabs, so it’s 12 bucks each way. When I spend this kind of money, plus cover charge, I want to enjoy the show! In summation, this is my LEAST favorite venue to see a show in San Francisco.}
