I’m so sorry I haven’t written for a long time… I have had love trouble, but it is completely over now. Hey, why don’t you stand as a girlfriend/boyfriend for me? Hehehe.

Of course, I’m still obsessed with music. I went to see Junior Varsity (from the US) in March, the Lucksmiths (from Australia) in May and Lois Maffeo (from the US). I saw many fab bands, and today I will tell you about Poussin*.

Poussin* is a four piece band (two guitars, a bass, a drum), almost all songs are written by Aya Nakagawa. Her songs are pretty poppy and catchy, so you can sing along with her at once. She’s a definitely a great musician, and she’s also a great fashion designer. Her talents always impress me. I went to see them in August 6th @ Jam, Shinjyuku, it’s an event called DO IT ON SUNDAY! Other bands were Vasallo Crab75, My Coffee Moment and Farmer. Almost all bands were nice, but this event’s highlight was Poussin*! Aya was always smiling while they played, and audience would also smile. It made me happy. She jumped, danced sometimes; it looked more aggressive than usual. After the show she said, “I guess it’s a kind of turning point for the band now. I started Poussin* alone a few years ago, but it’s a band now. I wanna try to something cool. It rocks tonight, how did you like it?” I agree with her, and I love it! I feel that ROCK, PUNKROCK is too much for me sometimes lately. I love both, but some player’s egotistical attitude makes me sick. Yeah, Poussin* is the perfect rock for my present feeling.

Last song was their hit song, “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend”. I sang along this song, and I thought, “I wanna be your girlfriend!”

* Highlights in August *
1: Marty Donald (the Lucksmiths) in Tokyo / music
2: Ghost World / movie
3: A Letter from Lisa (the Crabs) / friends
