TO “B” OR NOT TO “B”…
Update time here in the County of “O”. So, what’s going on with me?? Well, first off, I have to tell you about a new CD I got to review from Mr. Frank. The CD is by a band NOFX… maybe you’ve heard of them? The new CD is called “The War On Errorism” and it is PHENOMENAL!!!! (and I don’t use that word lightly) To tell you the truth, I really expected to be disappointed, and I decided I would listen to it a few times before I made a judgment (because I’m used to being let down by the “new” stuff my old favorite bands put out) BUT- from the second the album started, until the last note played- I was in love. I have always been a NOFX fan, and expected them to stray from their old style and try to bring out something new like the other old punkish bands are starting to do. Well, they didn’t and they did… (if ya know what I mean) I would tell you coolgrrrls out there, buy this album. It will prove to be money well spent… I promise.
Now as far as the opening line “To “B” or not to “B”… what I maybe should’ve titled it is “TO C or not to C”… because that is my dilemma here. Should I go to a size “B” or to a size “C”… I’m topping the scales these days at a whopping 102 lbs (believe it or not, when you eat right – you don’t tend to weigh 82 lbs…lol) so, if you haven’t guessed yet… I’ve put a down payment on a set of breasts. (yes, I’m buying two of them). My surgery date is September 3rd of this year, which is my 33rd birthday. I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while. I think many women think about the same surgery as well, considering American’s music scene can sometimes be more about the looks than about the talent (you know what I mean) and so many of us consider plastic surgery as an alternative to our own personal view of imperfection in ourselves, or maybe just to enhance the body we already have. NO- I don’t think I NEED plastic surgery, and NO I don’t think if I get plastic surgery it will make me better, I just want to (so there).
I found my doctor and took my husband to the office with me. He adamantly tried to talk me out of having the surgery (cause he thinks I’m perfect the way I am)… but funny thing…when I started trying on the implants (yes, they stick them in a bra and you try them on) my husband started saying “bigger, bigger, can we see one size bigger”… so he got into the fun of it all. Anyway, we have put a down payment on the surgery and I am now stuck with my dilemma… To B or not to B… or TO C OR NOT TO C.
I guess we’ll know in September. I plan on giving you guys updates on what I go through as I walk through the process. I thought it would be very informative for others. I know that I wish I could read through someone else’s experience with this. But since I can’t find it online, step-by-step, I decided to do what any other Coolgrrrl would do- and write it myself.
Until next time…. “C” ya…. J
