Hello my lovelies! Hope all is well with everyone these days. Are you looking forward to spring as much as I am? I love taking walks so I can’t wait to be able to do that again. That is something I miss about Ohio. There are Indian trails all over the state & you can just walk and walk and walk and walk. It’s quite nice. I walk around here too, but during the winter it’s not much fun cos it makes your skin all dry & crackly like a piece of old bacon. Although, yesterday the weather was WONDERFUL here in New York so I did some walking and shopping up and around St. Marks Place. For those outside NYC, St. Marks Place is a popular street where you can find a lot of punk rock stores and such. It’s where I go to buy my hair dye so you can understand what kind of people they have around there. While shopping I got a big ass cubic-zirconium ring for only 3 bucks! In my opinion faux jewelry is just as good as the real thing. Don’t waste yer money, girls.

Oh yeah! I recently starting pickin’ and a strummin’ in this rock band called “The Drive“. I suppose we would be called a GIRL or GRRL band since we all have bosoms. I played my first show with them February 15th at Meow Mix, which is a small bar/club on the Lower East Side. The stage at Meow Mix is kind of narrow for a four-piece band so I wasn’t able to break out any of my cool Van Halen moves like the high kick or the trapeze wire that carries you over the audience. Bummer. Maybe next time. We’re going to be going into the studio to record in March so we don’t have any upcoming shows right now, but stay posted to the website for dates. We are scheduled to play at the “New York Coolgrrrls” fiesta that’s being arranged by my girl Miss Kitty Kowalski so if you live around these parts you best make sure yer arse is at the show!

Celebrity sightings…I haven’t had any recently I don’t believe. Ooh wait! My friend Renee & I were having a drink at this bar on Avenue A a few months back when she noticed the guy sitting next to us was the “at 3 o’clock you get raped” guy from WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE. Hahahah. I hope to heaven you all have seen this movie. It’s so sad how accurate my Junior High experience is to it. I was Dawn Weiner! I was Dawn Weiner! I even had the same neon green elastic waistband pants. Whew, we are sure glad those days of hating the mirror and wishing for bosoms are gone.

I’m so sad. I had my cable turned off a few weeks ago. I miss my HBO. Reason #1 why I shut it off was because I was watching TV too much instead of doing other things and reason #2 cos I hadn’t been paying my bill. Heheh. I only really wanted cable so I could watch Sex & the City, Oz, and Six Feet Under. Those are the best shows. Ho hum. Now it’s just an empty screen. Someone with HBO offer me a seat on yer couch on Sunday nights PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE! I’ll make you popcorn…?
