EVANESCENCE EXCLUSIVE SIRIUSXM “ARTIST CONFIDENTIAL” PERFORMANCE TO PREMEIRE ON CHRISTMAS DAY!
BAND TO PERFORM IN SELECT U.S. CITIES IN JANUARY
Los Angeles, CA (December 20, 2011) – As a Christmas present to all of their fans, Evanescence’s SiriusXM “Artist Confidential” performance will debut at 9PM EST on SiriusXM’s Octane, channel 37, with encore airings through December 30th (see below for all air dates and times). The performance, recorded earlier this month in New York, is part of SiriusXM’s popular series that features important and timeless names in music sitting down for candid interviews, intimate conversations with fans and live performances. Fans will hear the band perform never before heard acoustic versions of “Bring me to Life,” “Lithium” and other favorites.

The band has also announced that they will play seven North American tour dates with Rival Sons as direct support beginning January 13th in Clemson, SC. Evanescence released their highly anticipated third studio album, Evanescence on October 11th, 2011 which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s top 200 chart and #1 on the iTunes Rock chart, U.K. and German download charts. The band recently wrapped a 14-city North American and 11-city European tour in support of the new album. On December 1st, the band shot the video for their second single “My Heart is Broken” with music video director Dean Karr (Queens of the Stone Age, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Dave Matthews, Marilyn Manson). The video will premiere in January 2012.
