The Civil Wars
This week my editors pick is The Civil Wars…. Joy Williams and John Paul White formed this great duo in 2008. They have a style that is country, folk, and rock blended together to create their unique sound. The Civil Wars won two Grammy’s this year for best folk album and best country duo/group performance. Check out their ep, “Live at Eddie’s Attic”. Once you listen to them, you will see that they found a niche that most musicians rarely find. I cannot wait to see them live!
