Live and coming to a stage near you, it's Tuuli, Toronto's own guitar goddesses of punk pop! Yes, that's right, they've migrated south for the winter to the sunny streets of LA, San Diego, San Fran, and even Phoenix, bestowing upon us their formidable talents and charms. These girls and a guy (Jenny, Claire, Dawn, and Mike), who perform their own tunes as well as some truly nifty and nasty covers from the likes of The Ramones and Motley Crue, proffer some definitely worthy rock n' roll and provide one of the freshest and funnest (is that a word?) shows you're likely to see. They've taken Hollywood by storm, that's for sure, and won over many a hard-boiled heart here. It's hard not to tap your toe or bang your head when you're listening to Tuuli--and you're likely to catch yourself doing both at once, go figure! They've featured in Poptopia and wind up their tour at Al's Bar playing with legendary local band, Texas Terri and the Stiff Ones. Though this is their first West Coast tour, we're sure it won't be their last because, in a word, this band rulz!
